Your are supposed to use the 8550 DLL, but that hasn't been leaked. Usually the DLL files are included along with the firmware bin. So we don't normally have access to a dll until a firmware file is leaked.

In other words, I don't know. You can try the 8500 dll, or maybe the 8700 dll would be closer to what the 8550 is. I really don't know. Sad

Just becareful, because you can screw up some settings if the dll has things mapped wrong and the settings don't get saved correctly.

I had a problem with my chocolate 2 (vx8550), it is stuck on the Verizonwireless power on screen. I just want to restore it to normal function. Has an 8550 Dll been made available yet? If not, what would you recommend?

I have the LG Download and I am looking for the firmware as well for the 8550.
