| I just got the motorola Q 9m and I really don't feel like paying $45 a month to occasionally check something online. Does anyone know what I have to do to get free internet access for my phone? I was told it could be done all through the phone. Is this true? If so, how do I do it? Is it as easy as changing some proxy settings? Thanks for the help! |

I believe you received incorrect information.
There is no such thing as free data. Data on a pda/smartphone plan is all billed by the kb. ONLY phone plans bill data by the minute.
You may be thinking about a work-around to get tethering working without paying the $15/month for the tethering feature. |
