|

humpa, was flashing my vx9900 to V01 last night, and my PC locked up mid flash. I can't get it to connect now, the phone just shows VZW logo, and then goes black. No comm connection.
Any help? |

Not that I know of.
Sounds like you'll have to return it - at least it has a 1yr warranty that the Verizon store will honor. |

humpa humpa
hold down #2 + #5 + Power and it will throw you into a "emergency mode" recovery for the vx9900
however LG Download can't see the phone. QPST does, but it is Q/QPC-XXX "Download only" "Download"
how could i fix that? |

I don't know about recovering from a bad flash.
Try posting in a thread that bfoos is posting on at howardforums.com in the Verizon > LG forum ... he knows a lot about flashing. |

so, its fixed. i posted in LG forums on HF and no one had an idea. they said return it for warranty. Amoamare in the Cricket forum helped me. Here is the answer in his own words:
Emergency mode is 5 + PWR
Put phone in emergency mode get the bin and dll use lg downloader older verison with emergency mode click emergency download select bin and dll then click start it should pick up phone after that and start flashing it |

ok, oddly enough today all the files are on the phone. however the MEID is all F's and the ESN is 0's.
When I get my meid/esn file fixed i'll post a screen shot of where to edit incase you get a blank ESN/meid. |
