DO YOU HAVE A (PARAMTABLE1) that I can paste
I managed to change the to go to your web page. I tried the link on howardsforum the one you have posted but it did not work.
Next
I keep getting username and password could not be authenticated on the domain
I have tethered before on the Motorla V325i. I got this used chocolate And I can't get it to tether. I can get in Bit Pim And read from the phone and copy back and forth. I am missing something. I don't know if it's in the WAP settings or proxy.
Is it Possible Verizon found a way to close this
also does it matter if it's in 1x or evdo? I have tried to tether on both no luck.
I know you have or had a chocolate.
Thanks |

The paramtable1.fil has absolutely nothing to do with tethering.
For starters, I wouldn't mess around in the Service Menu with disabling evdo. I've never disabled evdo in my life, and I have at least a dozen evdo phones.
Now, if you want to use #777 DUN (tethering), then follow this thread:
http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=938352
But if you really need the paramtable1.fil, let me just ask a few questions first.
Don't you have your original? Surely you aren't making edits to your original, right? 'Cause that would obviously just be rather silly.
I know I've posted the chocolate paramtable1.fil, I just don't know where. Also, I have the 8500 and not the 8550 - which one do you have? |

Thanks.
What about the first half of my post?
EDIT: I'm just trying to figure out what exactly you are trying to do. |

I rather use the evdo speed I thought if I used the slower speed I would stay under the radar. The old 325i phone was not evdo so i did not worried about it.
I will check when I get home QPST and get the info last time I checked
My#@vzw3g.com I did not check the tethering #

Sorry I have 2 issues mixed
I can get to your home page no problem I thought that by altering that portion it would fix or hinder me from tethering.
I want to be able to tether with the vx8500 cherry chocolate
Thanks |

Mobile Web (WAP) uses the paramtable1.fil
#777 DUN doesn't use the paramtable1.fil in any fashion.
And as far as EVDO vs 1x, there is no known reason to use the slower 1x. We have no indication that it helps "keep you under the radar". As far as we know, Verizon monitors bandwidth. They don't keep track of bandwidth on 1x vs EVDO. It is all the same to them. Using too much DUN on 1x is just as bad as using too much on EVDO. |
